AABOUT US

The Community Forum Think Tank was founded in 2005 by Edward Butler, Curtis Byrd, David L Johnson, Sr, Daren Muhammad, Baba Nati, and a host of other concerned brothers and sisters to address the detrimental effects of the mismanagement of the government of Baltimore City has had on the decay1majority population and to formulate viable policy solutions to repair the damage done by the abject failure of Sworn and Subscribed Public Trustees to act solely for the benefit of the good of the whole.

Baba Nati has provided a meeting space for the “Think Tank” at Everyone’s African Cultural Center and Book Store located at 1356 West North Avenue for nearly 5 years  and we thank him, his family, and his employees for their dedication to the education and forward progress of African people at home and abroad.

We meet at the above location on Sundays at 12 Noon until 2 p.m.

On November 15, 2009, the membership voted to appoint David Anthony Wiggins, to the office of  President of the Board of Directors .

This site contains a page dedicated to the work and policy projects of each committee and the name and contact information of each committee chair or co-chair.

We encourage you to make your views, opinions and policy recommendations known by contacting us at info@baltimoreblackthinktank.org

We welcome your input and value your participation in our objective of helping to ensure that our community is not ignored or neglected by those elected and appointed to public office
